Client: A mid-sized employer in Asheboro, NC over 100 employees
Challenge: The client’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standard operating procedures (SOPs) were outdated, inconsistent across departments, and not aligned with current operational realities.
Additionally, the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) had not been updated in several years, failing to account for new site layout changes, staffing shifts, and evolving regulatory expectations.
Resulted: Completely restructured the Emergency Action Plan, including:
- Updated evacuation maps and routes
- Clear responsibilities for fire wardens and emergency responders
- Integration of severe weather, fire, medical, and chemical spill protocols
- Inclusion of contact information and chain-of-command for on- and off-hours scenarios
- Helped the site develop incident command and muster zone coordinator training to safety liaisons
